Post graduate students should have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized U.S institution. No subject based tests are required for obtaining Smart Scholarship. This scholarship is generally given for a single program. However, sometimes, students may opt for joint degree programs too.

A student who applies for a Smart Scholarship receives full education and tuition fees. It, however, does not include housing facilities, parking or meal plans. The grant paid is at the rate of $25,000-$41,000. It depends on previous educational experiences. Payment for summer internships is also made.

A health insurance reimbursement coverage allowance of $1,200 per year is granted as per this scholarship. An allowance for book is paid at a rate of $1,000 each academic year. Proper guidance and mentoring is done. Placement after course completion is guaranteed. Therefore, this scholarship offers many facilities and has fewer demerits.
